Hakka Passion @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

The first blog post of 2012 should be of something special; Personally, I don't feel like making any of you bored with my lengthy grandmother story bout my reminiscence towards 2011, or the resolutions for 2012.

Since my all-time favourite post is about FOOD, hereby I'm posting some food which I'd love to have during the brand new year. And guess what? The food I'm going to introduce is the Hakka Cuisine :D

Why HAKKA? Simply because this kind of food is getting more and more rare in Malaysia, and not many Chinese know how to appreciate them. Anyway hope you enjoy them :D

The location of the day is an authentic Hakka restaurant around Bandar Puteri Puchong, which you would rarely notice because there are way too many food and beverages outlet around the town.

Hakka Passion is a Non-Halal restaurant which serves Authentic home-style Hakka cooking, with air-conditioned ambience and Wi-Fi supported.

I love the cozy, traditional ambience of the restaurant which gives me a warm feeling.

Hong Qu Men Rou (Braised Meat with Red Yeast Rice) @ RM 17
This is non-Halal, and the pork tastes gorgeous when cooked with such an authentic Hakka style!

Hakka Fried Tofu with Minced Meat @ RM 13
The tofu is fresh and home-brewed. Very well-cooked.

Fried Pucuk Paku @ RM 15
This sizzled greens are wok-tossed in Hakka style; Worth a try! :D

According to the menu, the dessert I ordered is named as
"Hakka Red Bean Sponge Cake" @ RM 3.90

But to my surprise, it is a piece of yam glutinuous rice cake
filled with red bean paste and topped with shredded coconut.

YUMMY! :D
This is gorgeous, and can rarely be found elsewhere!

I just can't resist its awesomeness!
The meal concludes on a sweet note with such a special dessert.

3 dishes along with two bowls of rice, and dessert becomes a perfect lunch for two! :D
P/S: Charges for the tea is RM 7 per table.
In case you don't know how to get there :)

When the bill comes... It costs around RM 30 per person for such authentic taste.
If you're a fan of Hakka dishes,
don't hesitate to visit this restaurant!
*NEW* (Added personal opinion on each food review)
Verdict:
1. Just fabulous; The food stuff served while hot is absolutely good.
2. The dessert was a total speechless and had my lip sealed with delight.
3. A fabulous way to start kick 2012!

Anyway, HAPPY 2012 TO ALL!
