How To Dye Your Hair Using L'oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss

Hello readers in 2013! It's a brand new year, and now we are gifted with a new 365 pages book,
each fresh page is to be filled with lots of joy, happiness and enjoyment.
So what's for the first day of 2013? Here we go!

A new teddy plush hugging a new hair dye.

Thanks to the party organized by OnlyBeauty.com.my, I have gotten myself a new hair dye from L'Oreal Paris. As you've always seen, my choices of hair color are often sweet apricot, light brown, or anything with yellowish tone. Boring! Now it's time for a change, and I picked Auburn. It is a very dark brown colour with shiny purplish and maroon shades.

The box comes with
1 tube of no-ammonia Creme Colorant,
1 bottle of Developer Creme,
1 bottle of Nutri-Shine conditioner,
1 pair of professional quality gloves,
and most importantly, an instruction leaflet.

Actually DIY hair coloring is pretty simple, just a few steps to follow:
First, squeeze the whole tube of no-ammonia Creme Colorant, into the bottle of Developer Creme.

Second, shake vigorously to obtain a completely even mixture.
The Developer Creme is originally white in colour (Left) and turns milky wine colour (Right) upon mixing.

The mixture will become slightly warmer then, remember to break off the tip of the applicator
immediately after mixing to avoid the bottle bursting and damage from the product overflowing.

Third step would be start applying all over your hair. Make sure your hair is dry and unwashed, and always start off with the hair roots, apply in sections and finally spread the rest through the lengths and ends of the hair. Massage your scalp and leave it for 30 minutes before rinsing, and your hair will shine in a new colour!

Here's the sample color of the dye. My hair from the roots to middle length is virgin, I mean uncolored and simply too black. It'll eventually turn dark brown, with dark purple shades.

Here's the end result!

Before: Black, untouched roots with golden brown ends from previous dye
After: Dark purple (It looks black in the picture) base, with purple grape shade under sunlight.

When I allow the sunlight shines into my room through the windows, you can clearly see the new colour of my hair. The purple streaks are rather obvious under bright condition, and I totally love this colour! It gives a fresh, healthy look to my hair :)

What's my verdict? I'm satisfied with this product as I get the same color from the sample displayed. The best thing is, the hair dye is odourless!! People often say dyeing your own hair may cause more damages than in hair saloons because of the 'unprofessional' products we use. This is so wrong, because L'oreal Creme Gloss doesn't smell bad at all, and the conditioning cream enhances the shine of the hair colour :)

Price? Reasonable and easily available at major drug stores, supermarkets and convenient stores.
