Sony Alpha 5000 Bloggers Gathering

Disclaimer: Pictures are taken using Sony Alpha 5000 // More info at http://bit.ly/1ffJeVN

Hello! Do you know that the latest world’s lightest interchangeable-lens digital camera, Sony Alpha 5000 has just landed on the shore of Malaysia? I was recently invited to the Sony α5000 bloggers gathering for a hi-tea date at Carcosa Seri Negara.

I used to have a Sony compact camera during high school, it was only 7.2 megapixels back then. Many years later, Sony has been improvising their products, and currently the Sony α5000 comes in a DSLR-sized 20.1MP Exmor™ APS-C HD CMOS sensor that boosts finer textures and lower noise.

Nice chatting with Mr. Kikuo Okura, the Managing Director of Sony Malaysia!

Mr. Ishida Masahiko, the Head of Digital Imaging in Sony Malaysia mentioned that Sony Alpha 5000 is a cutting-edge innovation that has built-in WiFi and NFC-enabled "One Touch" sharing feature that transfers pictures to mobile devices in split seconds.

Comes in pink, white and black, Sony Alpha 5000 is incredibly lightweight yet able to produce beautifully detailed images of DSLR quality. I bet all girls will be more than delighted to own this camera because it has a 180° tiltable LCD screen for selfies!

I love how the case is exclusively styled for a sleek, elegant fit! This 'bag-in-bag' style soft carrying case comes with a stylish strap and allows the camera to stow neatly inside a rucksack. How I'd wish to get one for my baby Sony α5000 too!

It is compatible with a versatile range of Sony E-mount lenses.
Let's try out the camera!

Pictures are taken with the camera LCD screen flipped up.
It has Soft Skin Effect to beautify our complexion too... so perfect for selfies!

Under low light setting, most cameras give a yellowish tone and high noise which I hate alot.
But with Sony Alpha 5000, I'm surprised with the bright, clear, cool-toned result!

Unique to Sony, one of the remarkable features is the easy control over different settings. The
Background Defocus mode gives a clear focus on the object in front, leaving the background blurred.

Models were present during the bloggers gathering for us to test on various lenses for different effects.
