Review: LUVIEW (路薇儿) Korea "the ORIENTAL secret": The Oriental Colour Make Up

Have you heard of LUVIEW? I believe this Korean brand is quite new in Malaysia, but all LUVIEW products are available at 58 selected Watson Personal Care's outlet around Peninsular Malaysia

Convenient right? Plus, the price of the cosmetics is pretty competitive in this Malaysian market! In Korea, it is a very fast growing cosmetic brand, targeting on ladies aged 20 to 30 (Sadly, but true, I fall into this category already!!) who are striving for career success and romantic love.

Nowadays everyone opts for skin-friendly makeup, but honestly whatever we apply on the skin does damages the skin, but we can carefully choose products that do least harm on it! Inspired by an oriental formula, LUVIEW caters cosmetics that provide natural finish while leaving our skin soft and moist. KFDA certified functional ingredients effectively protect your skin from sunlight (Goodbye, photo aging!) and pigmentation, and provide velvety radiant skin.

#1 LUVIEW CRYSTAL MINERAL PACT

“Abundant with minerals, this pact creates natural & even skin tones and it soothes and softens your skin. The ultra-fine satin powder in the pact covers skin blemishes and absorbs sebum.”
I love the shiny packaging of the compact powder!! The combination of red and gold colours give a very classy look, immediately lifting up the elegance of this mighty makeup essential. Comes with SPF 25 PA+++ UV Protection, this natural mineral has a few shade options, and mine is Shade #1 Light Beige.

Separated into two compartments, the first is the mirror with fine, smooth layer of powder cake. While at the bottom, you can find the exclusive LuView cosmetic puff resting nicely on the gold glossy surface.

Dab an appropriate volume of powder onto the puff and apply it tenderly with light patting, yes it's just that simple! I would avoid a thick application else it would look 'cakey' or sculpture-like. The coverage is pretty good, and gives an immediate shine to the skin!

#2 ONE-TOUCH BRUSH SUN POWDER

“Provides UVA and UVB prevention, creating natural skin tone. Its high-class brush makes a convenient use regardless of timing and place. This prevents from being oily and makes it possible for daytime repeated use without feeling stuffy.”

It's something that we girls cannot live without nowadays- Sunscreen! This is the first time I apply sunblock in powder form. Luview’s powder type sun block provides a SPF 50 PA+++ UV protection, with sebum controlling and moisturizing properties.

Attached on the container, the premium hair brush is easy to use, and very convenient. I personally love this very much because it kills 2 birds with one stone! ---Powder finish + Sun protection. So now I can pop it into my bag and ready to leave home without worries!

The ultra-fine powder, the double application can be made to generate natural skin tone. After finish putting on make-up, brush through your skin with the sun powder. Can be applied from time to time (when necessary) without feeling thick on the skin.

#3 GLEAM FULL LONG LASH MASCARA

“Special Volume-Up polymer and natural fiber in this mascara provide glamorous eye lashes and maximizes your lash length, making your eye distinguished. Vitamin B, chamomile and jewelry ingredients make your eyelashes more plentiful and glossy.”
Again, the oriental series features a golden red packaging that attracts me a lot.
*Chinese New Year mood is ON, and it's time to be glamorous!"

The shape of the eye lash brush is nothing to shout out, I'd appreciate more if it has a more curvy body so that I can reach even the trickiest part of my eye lashes. However, luckily the star-shaped cross section of the brush with twisted side helps alot in enhancing the eye lashes into a more enriched and lengthened look.

Start from the base of the lashed and using the lightest pressure, brush upwards along the entire length in a zig zag movement. The eye on your left is untouched, without mascara. While on your right, you can see the lusher, darker eye lashes after only ONE time of application. Pretty okay because the lashes didn't clump together, plus I didn't use any lash curler or falsies.

Normally my eye lashes are rather brittle and will fall easily, luckily LuView has included soothing ingredients in this tube to protect my eye lashes, and it can easily be removed with lukewarm water without using 'force'.

#4 LUVIEW GLOSSY KISS

“Lovely sweet pink and sexy rosy pink creates a variety of lip colours.
Shiny pearl in this lip gloss volumizes your lips and Vitamin E provides moisture.”

Another two-in-one thing is included in this cosmetic line! I always love glossy lips finish, to look younger with more 'charms' :P Comes in dual color and I believe the two shades are fixed (So far, they haven't come up with other colours yet)--- Romantic milky pink color, and sexy hot pink shade.

Sweet pink lip gloss is suitable for my everyday college use because it looks demure, while creating shiny, voluminous lips. Although I expect the rosy pink to appear in a richer tone, it ends up being quite light but very pleasant to give a sexy boost. It doesn't feel very sticky on the lips, and moist enough with the rich content of Vitamin E in it.

The whole range of LUVIEW's latest product series, comprises of 9 items in total.
Check out their range of BB Creams and Cleansing Foam in my previous blog post (HERE).

VERDICT:
Personally, I feel that LUVIEW Oriental Colour Makeup complements one another well, and very well-matched with Asian needs. To my liking, Korean cosmetics are always light, mild and create natural flawless look! That's why so many Korean superstars are so pretty!! Must Buy: Crystal Mineral Pact, Sun Powder and Glossy Kiss!
