Hi, Wizards (Wait, where's the witch?)

We are here checking out yet another trending cafe located in the heart of the city. Wizards at the Tribeca seems to have casted its spell onto both early and late risers to flock to the outlet during the golden brunch hours and kickstart the day with a hearty meal.

Isaac Toast & Coffee @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre, PJ

Do you remember the huge hype when South Korea's best sandwich shop, Isaac Toast first landed in Malaysia at KLIA2 last year? Each time I go travelling, I'd definitely grab a Ham and Cheese Toast and go. Having said that, how often do I get to enjoy this Korean Toast unless I go all way to Sepang right?

After its second outlet opening in Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, the long-awaited good news is finally here: Isaac Toast now opens in 1 Utama shopping mall, PJ!

Yes, it means that you don't have to go far anymore.
Just grab an Isaac Toast whenever you're in 1 Utama!

Similar to the kiosk in KLIA2, the kiosk in 1 Utama has its full menu displayed on the board.
The menu is simple and straightforward too -- 9 types of sandwiches and a wide array of beverages.

The signature toasted sandwiches come in a variety of fillings such as:
❤ Chicken Bacon Cheese [Popular!!]
❤ Kimchi Ham [Popular!!]
❤ Potato Double Cheese
❤ Turkey Ham Cheese
❤ Kimchi Bacon
❤ Hot Chicken
❤ Shrimp
❤ Pizza
❤ Tuna

You can see all sandwiches are freshly prepared upon ordering at the kiosk

Regardless of the flavour you pick, it contains a layer of soft and gooey omelette that perfects the toast.

My Chicken Bacon Cheese Sandwich is ready! If you have been wondering what makes Isaac Toast SO good, it would be the ultra crisp toasted bread and Isaac's secret sweet sauce that brings every sandwich a right balance of sweet and savoury flavours.

Filling wise, it is pretty generous. Perfect as a quick bite on the go, and ideal as a main meal for light eaters.

Among all flavours, I find that Kimchi Ham and Kimchi Bacon are the most unique ones that you should give them a try! The kimchi here is surprisingly not as pungent as I'd thought (because I am not a kimchi person), and does not taste spicy too. I am not sure if it has been toned down to suit Malaysians' palate, but this is great even for non-kimchi fans!

One point to note here is that you can add sweet or spicy sauce to your sandwiches based on personal preference. For the best enjoyment, chomp it down while it is hot!

While the sandwiches are available ala carte, there is always a better deal when things come in a set.

One notable thing about this outlet is that, it opens as early as 7.30am. So for those working in the vicinity of Bandar Utama, there is no reason to skip breakfast anymore because Isaac Toast is ready to serve you at 7.30am everyday!

Breakfast Set @ RM10

Review: Reinvented Experience at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Hi! Weekend has been amazing as I get to be pampered by Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel like a princess ❤ It feels great to spend my weekend away from home, away from work, enjoying myself at this 5-star luxury and lifestyle hotel tucked at the corner of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Ampang.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's vibrant city, I'm sure there are plenty of activities to do nearby-- be it shopping, dining, sightseeing or entertainment-- for business and leisure travelers. After a long day out, I am glad to find my comfort at this home away from home.

The New Deluxe Room
Renaissance KL recently unveils the newly-renovated West Wing guest rooms-- tastefully redesigned and innovatively restyled to exude a sleek, new look. Stepping my feet at Level 9 of West Wing, a sense of luxury and comfort fills up the space.

The room features a neutral color palette on its furniture, well-complemented with the light wood flooring and warm lighting. The best part? Every corner of the room is decorated with luxury amenities that totally lift my overall experience here.

The Deluxe Room I stay at is fully furnished with a king-sized bed in luxurious Marriott's Plush Bedding, a day bed as an extra bed (For afternoon nap perhaps?), an ergonomic workspace and a Samsung 48-inch full HD Smart TV attached to the wall.

...and then I spot a warm gesture from Renaissance KL. Thanks for the lovely handcrafted chocolates and sliced cake!

Thumbs up to the excellent complimentary Wi-Fi and extra safety features such as
high tech radio frequency IC door lock system and IP camera security system too.

Next to the main bedroom area is a full-sized wardrobe with mirror sliding door, in-room electronic safe, mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities. I am surprised to see this illy's iperEspresso Capsule System machine that can help fix my coffee craving anytime I want!

Coffee capsules are provided in the room too. Just one click and you get to
enjoy perfectly brewed illy espresso and cappuccino, so simple and hassle-free!

Another mind-blowing part of the room is the marble bathroom! Totally impressed with the gigantic ring lighted wall bathroom mirror that makes grooming easier and more convenient.

It is also installed with 4-bay bathroom fixtures with rain shower and bath tub for a complete relaxing experience. With this, I can take my own sweet time and enjoy my bubble bath while listening to music.

I truly appreciate how Renaissance has gone great lengths to provide ultimate comfort to its guests. On top of the basic personal care kit, guests can pamper themselves with the fine range of body and hair luxuries from TokyoMilk by Margot Elena.

The Facilities
While the room is an enjoyment by itself, I am also excited for some splashing good times at the Olympic-sized pool. Don't forget to drop by at the Poolside Gazebo for exotic cocktails, cool fruit juices and light bites while chilling by the pool.

I am so tempted to reignite my previous rejuvenation experience in Mandara Spa, but unfortunately the massage therapists are fully booked during my visit. Shall be back for this next time!

Renaissance probably has one of the largest hotel fitness centre I've been to. Spanning nearly 1,300 metre-square, this Fitness Centre is extensively equipped for the ease of guests. And it is open 24 hours, I don't mind working out during late nights after a sumptuous buffet dinner!

Alternatively, healthy goers may also be interested in the tennis courts or nearby golf courses and hiking trails.

Buffet Breakfast
After a blissful, calmed sleep in the Deluxe Room, my huge morning appetite calls for a lavish buffet at TEMPTationS, the in-house all-day dining restaurant that serves daily breakfast buffet from 6am to 11am.

Although I am not a morning person, I can still drop by for a hearty brunch, given the endless options on the buffet spread-- comprising of delightful Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Western and dessert fare served in different sections.

Live cooking stations such as the noodle corner and egg station are amongst the most popular pick here. The quality of Asian cuisine such as nasi lemak, porridge, dim sum and roti canai here totally exceeds my expectation. The standard is honestly far beyond par, as compared to many hotels out there.

Verdict:
1. Overall, my short stay here has been a great satisfying journey of discovering the essence of luxury in Renaissance.
2. The new, contemporary designed room is so spacious and well-equipped with high technology amenities; Ideal for savvy urban travellers.
3. From the warm hospitality services to the strategic location, every aspect is well taken care of. And I don't see any reason to say No to my next visit here!

Fishee Coffee @ Bukit Jalil, KL

Fishee Coffee. A name that attracts me when I first heard about it. Many have asked if I am one of the owners here, but unfortunately no. Well, nevertheless I am a fan of this lovely cafe :) Guess why? Keep reading!

I am very particular about the noise level in every cafe I visit, and I am glad that Fishee Coffee is a perfect hideout for me to spend a quiet afternoon here amidst the cozy and comfortable ambiance.

Here you can make yourself at home, whether you wanna sink into the fluffy sofa, or to sit by the window enjoying bright natural sunshine to keep the mood light. Every nook and corner here is so beautifully decorated that it becomes very picture worthy especially for Instagrammers.

It serves plenty of signature toasts as the primary item on its menu, as well as a small selection of cakes and waffle for the peckish customers and fruit juices for the non-caffeine drinkers.

Fishee Dream Chocolate @ RM12.00

I skip my daily dose of caffeine this time, and opt for the signature chocolate drinks instead. Rich and foamy, it is a cup of comfort on its own. Not too sweet for my liking.

Eggee-Ham Toast @ RM13.00

One of the energy-boosting toasts we try is topped with basic breakfast goodies such as egg, cheese, ham and vegetables. Slicing through the toast reveals the crisp crust, followed by the soft pillowy texture inside. Simple, soul-comforting and tummy-filling :)

Fishee Ball @ RM13.00

As for the dessert, first timers must try the signature Fishee Ball, a whole piece of fresh thick cheese coated with premium dark chocolate on a base of crushed Oreo cookies. The quirky name and presentation surely tempt me to try it out too, especially when I am a cheesy lover.

Every bite is so thick and creamy! Sharing is recommended if you don't want
to overstuff yourself with cheese unless you are a true fan of cheese.

Verdict:
1. Nice place to chill with friends or to work alone quietly especially during weekdays when the crowd is lesser.
2. Food, drinks and ambiance are great but if I were to have any complaints at all, it would be the parking issue here during working hours.
3. Recommended: Fishee Ball
