Review: Philips VisaPure for Gentle & Deep Cleansing

Hey lovelies! Do you remember my previous post about my first hands-on experience with Philips Visapure? After 5 months of using this cleansing machine, I'm happy to share the result with you now!

What is Visapure? (Click to read more)

If you have not heard of Philips Visapure, it is an electronic facial cleansing brush that provides gentle and deep cleansing to the skin. Well, in fact, cleansing brushes are a current trend in the skincare world; Some are willing to invest thousands on one! But is it worth the investment? Now let me show you the answer!

Have you heard of some Facial Cleansing Myths? (Click to read more)
Do you know that normal facial cleansing routine using hand / cloth can only cleanse away the impurities on the surface of the skin, but not those 'hidden' inside the pores or unreachable contours of the face? Those uncleansed dirt will still accumulate on the skin, clog up the pores and then cause breakouts and acne issue :(

Therefore I choose Philips VisaPure for 10 times more effective cleansing effect! It is very easy to use with its two speed setting: 'gentle cleansing' (For daily use) and 'deep cleansing' (For exfoliating!) mode for tailored cleansing intensiveness.

Shaped like a cone, it is easy for gripping. The brush head is detachable, so each time after use I'd just wash the brush itself. Speaking of the size, it does not take up much space and convenient to bring along for travel purposes. However, it is quite fragile, so be sure not to drop it.

Comes in 3 types of brush heads (Normal, sensitive and exfoliation), I personally prefer the ultra fine, soft bristles for sensitive skin because its gentle texture does not irritate the skin at all. Along with the Visapure's Dual Motion feature, the rotating motion helps to reach stubborn dirts around hidden areas.

Soft but effective, this brush head is recommended for those who have dry, sensitive skin.

Using the brush head for sensitive skin, I start off on the 1-minute, low vibration setting together with my usual facial wash. Another helpful feature of Visapure is the half second interval after every 20 seconds, so you don't have to time the device.

It is preset in a 20 seconds - 0.5 second *pause* - 20 seconds - 0.5 second *pause* - 20 seconds interval (Altogether it's 1 minute). 3 times of 20 seconds cleansing motions are targeted on left face, right face and T-zone area. So easy to use right?

Personally, I find it easier to foam up the cleanser using this device than by hand. When it becomes foamy, the small particles of the cleansing agent will better penetrate the skin and deep-cleanse the pores.

First Month: Using Visapure Twice Daily
After cleansing twice a day, I notice that the skin oiliness is very much reduced but the skin starts peeling away around the nose area. It is probably due to my extreme dry skin condition.

Second Month Onwards: Using Visapure Once Daily
I decide to use Visapure only once a day (In the evening) and the result is back to normal. As a result, I can still see significant improvements in my skin complexion. but at a slower pace.

Well, it is sad but true that our pores don't shrink by itself, However, by cleansing away the impurities in the pores, I notice that the blackheads are significantly reduced and pores are less visible now

Love the renewed, radiant and glowing skin! The overall result is very satisfying for the past 5 months, and I've never stopped using Visapure as part of my daily facial cleansing routine since then! I personally think it would be a great investment for flawless skin despite its premium price at RM799 which may be too much for a student like me.

Do check out my blogger friends' reviews in this video too!
