Chilla Cup @ SetiaWalk Puchong

Recently gaining much popularity within the vicinity of Solaris, Subang Jaya and Puchong, Chilla Cup is now a new icon for people of all ages. True to its name that incorporates the word "Chill" in it, this cafe is a great venue for coffee and freshly baked delicacies.

At SetiaWalk, Chilla Cup is strategically tucked along the row of restaurants, bars and lounges.
Upon entering the cafe, it gives a very comfortable and homey feeling. I can bring in a laptop anytime,
order a cup of coffee and simply chill there for the rest of the day. It practises a self service ordering system--- just pick your favourite from the menu and everything is just an order away!

If you happen to visit this cafe, you must really try their signature house pretzels, freshly baked upon ordering. I personally love their range of original pretzels which come with sprinkles of cinnamon sugar, parmesan cheese or caramel almond. If you prefer deeper flavours, they also have filled pretzels, among which the apple cinnamon, chicken hot dog and beef pepperoni are the signatures.

#1 Plain Pretzel @ RM5.90

Back to basic, I enjoy the plain pretzel the most. Thanks to its freshness, the dough is very soft with a slightly crusty skin. Baked into a golden brown perfection, the aroma of the pretzel wafts in the air as soon as it is served from the oven. Good job that it retains subtle warmness within it until the moment I finish it.

#2 Raspberry Sparkling Juice @ RM9.90

#3 Hawaiian Tortilla @ RM12.90

Who don't love this thin round disc stuffed with melting cheesy goodness? Another signature of Chilla Cup is the tortilla, so thinly sliced that it cracks into crunchiness upon every bite. Pretty similar to pizzas, my
favourite topping is the Hawaiian style--- Chunks of pineapples and ham sit on the gooey cheese topping
the tortilla, creating a caramelized sweetness along with the sauce.

#4 Beef Burger in Focaccia Bun @ RM14.90

To satisfy the hungry stomachs, Chilla Cup offers delicious menu hot from the kitchen. Simply great for lunch and dinner, to give you a boost of energy for the rest of the day. To my disappointment, the beef patty is slightly small in size, but it is nevertheless satisfying as it unravels into juiciness as I fork into the meat.

#5 Grilled Chicken @ RM16.90

The Western delight doesn't just end here. Apart from pasta, soup, salad and nacho, Chilla Cup serves fish and chips, grilled chicken as well as our Asian favourite nasi lemak. The chicken chop has nothing to shout about, but it is definitely a comfort food that satisfies many poultry lovers.

Verdict:
1. Since the plain pretzel is so good, I guess I will be back for the rest of the flavours.
2. The popular thick toasts and all day continental breakfast set attracts me for a second visit.
3. Ambience and price are acceptable, simply suitable for all occasions be it a quick lunch with colleagues or a gathering with friends and family.
