How to Flaunt Your Style in Formal Parties

Approaching year end, it seems that invitations to different parties and celebrations keep pouring in these days! It is always the best time of the year where we can gather and enjoy endless chatting sessions over wine and cocktails. I personally enjoy such moments very much but not when the headache comes.....

The biggest question for special occasions like this is always, "What to wear?"

Empire Chiffon V-neck Beading Floor-length Formal Dresses

Just as and when I am running out of ideas on what to wear, I am glad to find tonnes of fashionable Formal Dresses 2016 that gives me some ideas on my outfits to usher the brand new year.

Let's take an example. The V-neck chiffon dress with minimalistic embellishment actually works well for any occasion! If you don't like the plain black dress, perhaps playing with colors is something you'd fancy? Pastel tones, as usual, makes me fall in love with them instantly.

White Sheath Chiffon Spaghetti Straps Beading Floor-length Formal Dress

A simple and clean white formal dress can also shines your special nights. If elegance is what you are looking for, why not try the full-length dress to flatter your body shape without overly bold embellishments or delicate beading?

Trumpet/Mermaid Organza Sweetheart Beading Floor-length Formal Dresses

Speaking of flaunting the body figure, I always wish to have the "perfect body shape" to fit into this mermaid-style evening gown! Well, year end gives me too much opportunities of feasting; I guess I will have to just keep this in my wishlist... Aren't they just beautiful?

A-line Chiffon Sweetheart Beading Asymmetrical Formal Dresses

For a sweet-looking yet classy style, I find that a piece of asymmetrical dress with shimmery details works best in a gala or on the dance floor. I simply love the semi-sheer chiffon material at the bottom that sways with your every step and swirl! Light, comfortable and nothing too voluminous to walk around with throughout the evening.

A-line Tulle Scoop Neck Appliques Lace Short/Mini Formal Dresses

Well, perhaps I am a fan of something more fun and playful. Who say short dresses can't exude its elegance? Well, let the lace and embroidery details do the tricks. Red and nude colors work perfectly on those with fair skin :) And perhaps you'd think of recycling this dress for the next festive occasion too? Simply because it is just very versatile and fits most occasions if not all.

Those are just some of my favourite picks from the popular Formaldressaustralia site that offers plenty of dresses in new styles. Be it long, short, backless or mermaid design, there should be something that suits your taste there!

Elegant and graceful, let's sparkle the whole night, babes!
