Artisanal Pizza at The Butcher's Table, Pizza 185 and more

Do you remember my first try on creative pizzas during the first PizzArt campaign organized by Anchor Food Professionals last year? Now, it is back with the second wave, meaning there are more innovative pizzas and more cheesy goodness coming our way!

The second PizzArt campaign is here to take the enjoyment of pizza to the next level by infusing global food trends into local favourites. This round, it features 5 new, inventive pizzas created by Anchor Food Professionals’ very own Hot Cooking Chefs.

The masterpieces include the meaty and cheesy PizzBurger, meaty UltiMeat Pizza, Chicago's Deep Cheese Pizza with a twist, hearty Cheese Pretzza and mini Pizza Rolls which are available in 18 participating outlets in Peninsula and East Malaysia from December 2017 till early June 2018.

While the pizzas have different shapes and flavours, they share one thing in common -- the premium Fonterra’s dairy products or ingredients used in the making of these pizzas.

You can taste the fine quality Anchor Mozzarella Cheese, Anchor Shredded Parmesan Cheese, Anchor Butter, Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Creams and Anchor Cream Cheese, all brought in from New Zealand. The right stringiness of cheese lends texture, experience and creaminess that everyone would love in a pizza.

So where are these unique and innovative pizzas available at? Let’s go and check it out!

Our pizza date begins at The Butcher’s Table in SS2, Petaling Jaya where we get to enjoy the star of the day -- the meat-endowed-cheese-oozing PizzBurger! This restaurant is not a conventional pizzeria, and the main focus here is anything porky.

PizzBurger

Hog lovers will love the PizzBurger as it features a 200g succulent grilled minced meat patty stuffed with Anchor Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Colby and Cheddar Cheese. I like how it is topped with an Anchor Butter laden puff pastry instead of the usual bun as it is lighter in texture and exudes an aromatic butter goodness. The two crisp streaks of bacon crowning the PizzBurger is a bonus for those who can’t get enough of pork.

Look at the cheesy goodness, again, you can savour a good mix of Anchor cheeses in this pizza.

UltiMeat Pizza

If you would like to challenge for something even meatier, try the UltiMeat Pizza! Be warned, this meaty pizza can easily feed 4 pax or more. The pizza base is made entirely out of grounded meat, coated with a layer of deep fried crust.

For a different pizza experience, we also check out Pizza 185 restaurant in IOI Mall, Puchong. This outlet serves 2 different types of PizzArt creations, namely the Cheese Pretzza and Pizza Roll.


Cheese Pretzza

Have you seen the marriage of Pizza and Pretzel? Here’s one: Cheese Pretzza! Cheese lovers would totally have a great time sinking their teeth into the perfectly baked pretzza which oozes creamy, cheesy goodness as it incorporates Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream, Cream Cheese, Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Colby and Cheddar Cheese into the dough. For an added tang, try dipping it into the pizza sauce.

The best part is, this Cheese Pretzza is generously filled with chunky salmon. I can really taste the oceanic goodness in each and every bite. Simple yet delicious!

Pizza Roll

Well, some may find pizza overwhelming at times. But don’t worry, they also serve mini-sized Pizza Rolls in 3 flavours: Otak-otak, Chicken and Butter Prawns. Similarly, the Pizza Roll oozes cheesiness upon each bite as it is stuffed with Anchor Shredded Mozzarella, Parmesan, Colby and Cheddar Cheeses.

Baked along with Masala meat and spinach, this sharing platter is simply perfect for breakfast and as snacks.
