New Pizzas by Anchor Food Professionals @ Movida & U Pizzeria

Have you seen pizza in an art form? It's called "PizzArt"!

Forget about your old, round pizza! Pizza lovers can rejoice because Anchor Food Professionals is now bringing a ‘new age’ of pizzas in Malaysia through the new campaign called "PizzArt" with its fellow partners.

The new, artisanal pizzas now come in different shapes and sizes. Some of the masterpieces are Flower Pizzas, Pizza Bombs, Adjaruli Khachapuri, Mini Muffin Pizzas and Pot Pie Pizzas which are available in over 25 participating outlets in Peninsula and East Malaysia from May to mid-November 2017.

Apart from the unique shapes, it is the fine ingredients that stand out in these pizzas! Using only Fonterra's dairy products in the making of pizza, you can taste the premium quality Anchor Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Anchor Unsalted Butter, Anchor Colby Cheese, Anchor Cheddar Cheese, and Mainland Edam Cheese in the pizzas.

So now the question is...where do I savour such unique pizzas?

We first check out this quirky pizza shop in USJ 21, opposite Main Place Mall -- U Pizzeria.

U Formaggio Pizza (Adjaruli Khachapuri) + Pot Pie @ RM30

In U Pizzeria, you can try one of the artisan pizzas by Anchor Food Professionals which is the Adjaruli Khachapuri, a boat-shaped pizza filled with hot Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses and heavy aromas of butter, all sourced from Anchor brand. 

This pizza is seriously the bomb for cheese lovers!

When served piping hot, it is easy to "pinch" the side of the crust and twist it with lots of cheese on top. Let the thick strands of highly "elastic" cheese wraps around the pizza crust and melts perfectly in the mouth with very rich buttery aroma. 

Look at the melty layer of butter and cheese on top of the crisp crust! Truly a masterpiece for cheese lovers. 

We just can't get enough of PizzArt, hence we head for more in MOVIDA Kitchen,
Bar and Lounge in Sunway Giza for another fancy pizza called the "Pizza Bombs".

Salted Egg Pizza Bombs (3 pieces) @ RM15.80

Pizza bombs appear to be something more Westernized than what I thought. This ooey gooey pizza bomb is currently a hit in the international food scene. Let's find out how it has brought snacking to the next level... 


Unraveling the ball of chewy dough with crispy crust, we are surprised by the excellent explosion of savoury flavours and cheesiness. What makes the flavours more interesting is the curry leaves in the cheese-tomato combination which give an instant kick of spice to the pizza bomb.


Not forgetting to mention the crust is extremely thin and crisp, best served while hot!

Trio of Pizza Muffins @ RM15.80

Another cheesy creation we try is the Muffin Pizza (3 in a platter), exclusively served in IOI Boulevard, Puchong. It is a bite-sized version of delicious pizza, hence it would be perfect for snacking without too filling in the stomach.

Interestingly, the muffin-shaped pizza crust is pretty thin with a delicious flaky texture.

There are 3 types of filling altogether, each coated with generous tomato-based sauce and cheese:
- Smoked Duck and Peach
- Chicken Pepperoni and Jalapeno
- Turkey Ham and Chives
