Happy Deepavali 2016!

Happy Deepavali to my dear readers who are celebrating!

Each year this time, it is always about gathering at my friends' open house and enjoy buttery Murukku, sweets, and lots more with people from different races, religions and nations. Well, in light of the Deepavali celebration, we Malaysians should respect each other’s’ differences and embrace similarities. Don't you think so?

This meaningful festival of light is beyond reunion with families and friends. It serves as a reminder to us to have compassion for others. Let the light shines within us and continue respecting each other as both individuals and as Malaysians.

I know, I know, judging may seem easier than finding the truth. Watch the video below if you don't get what I mean. Can Muniandy and his friend escape the misjudgement?

Greater harmony can be achieved through greater understanding and compassion. I believe, we may have physical and social differences, but we live as one in Malaysia. As true Malaysians, let's embrace the differences and live in harmony together!

Wishing all of you a very Happy Deepavali 2016;
May this festival bring lot more light and happiness to your life!
