Review: Korean G9 SKIN White In Whipping Cream

It’s time to experiment with new skincare! To be honest, I have not heard of G9 Skin until it enters into the Malaysian market recently. Looking at the cute, pastel-pink-and-white packaging of G9 Skin products, I can’t resist myself from trying it out!

G9 Skin is a specially formulated anti-city pollution skincare brand from Korea, mainly focusing on:
❤ Removing various skin trouble factors
❤ Delivering effective ingredients to restore skin health

G9 also means Guard 9, Good 9 and Guide 9. So what does "9" mean?

Guard 9
Guard the skin against 9 harmful factors: UV rays, dry environment, air pollution, stress, global warming, irregular sleep pattern, cosmetics’ harmful ingredients, thick makeup and wrong skincare habits.

Good 9
Refers to 9 good ingredients which are called G9 Complex to purify and revitalize tired skin into healthy skin -- 9 plant extracts including lotus, ivy, pine sprout, eucalyptus, oregano leaf, chlorella, hibiscus, chia seed and green tea.

Guide 9
9 effective guides to better skin conditions: Moisture, whitening, anti-wrinkle, nutrition, elasticity, purifying, specialization on sensitive skin, pore care and UV care.

That’s pretty much about the brand, now let’s move on to the star product of G9 Skin skincare series…

G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream (50g)

We all love the Korean fair skin, don’t we? The popular G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream, a skin whitening product is more commonly known as an “instant tone-up cream” for moisturized porcelain skin.

❤ Milk Tone-Up
❤ Whitening
❤ Anti-Wrinkle
❤ Moisturizing

Packaging: ★★★★☆

The lovely milk carton shaped box in pink and white shades is just too cute to resist. Inside the box, the cream is stored in a milky white jar with the G9 milk bottle logo. However, there is no spatula is included in the box.

Texture: ★★★★☆

Inside the jar, the content has soft, fresh whipping cream texture– Delicious-looking but not edible. The texture is very light and it forms water droplets and adheres to the skin like a watery gel cream. The finish? A moisturizing powder-like layer that I love a lot.

Feel: ★★★★☆
So soothing and moisturizing on the first touch. And finishes off with soft and velvety sensation like a baby’s skin!

Whitening Effect: ★★★

It makes the skin one tone lighter immediately! The white pigments adhere well onto the skin, as if it provides a smooth, baby powder-like protection to the skin. My complexion looks more even now.

I love how the thick cream melts instantly on the skin,
forming "white droplets" which turn into a layer of whitener to the skin.

Scent: ★★★
It exudes a light baby powder smell which is quite neutral for me.

Skin Blurring Effect: ★★★
For those with fair skin, it also works well as a blur cream / makeup base before applying your foundation makeup.

 Moisture: ★★★★☆
Thanks to the moisture-rich water-drop formulation, it gives a long-lasting moisturizing effect to the skin.

1. The special formula of combining 9 whitening and nourishing ingredients plus 9 moisturizing and soothing ingredients makes it an instant whitening product that is worth trying.
2. Now I can say goodbye to dull skin and enjoy a brighter complexion.
3. The only downside is, the hydrating and glowing skin effect is lacking here.
