The Malaysian Retail Chain Association (MRCA), in collaboration with McMillan Woods, Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) along with major retailers, are organizing the most dynamic run of the year: MRCA Charity and Carnival Run 2017.

The fourth charity run, themed “Care, Share & Run,” is set to be held on 26 November 2017 at OneCity, Subang Jaya. This year, it aims to gain the support from 3,000 to 5,000 runners, and raise more than RM100,000 to be distributed to selected charitable homes.

As part of MRCA's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, a kid's carnival will be held on the same day of the run. A total of 500 children from orphanages around the city will be invited to join the event for a full day of exciting games, performances and cosplay. There will also be food and beverage trucks and various booths at the event venue.

All proceeds will be donated to Rumah Charis, Angel Homes, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Mata Air Kehidupan Selangor, GoodKids, Juara Home, Ace Lighthouse Academy Bhd, Kiwanis Club of Kluang Mandarin, Home of Love, Rumah Sayangan, Persatuan Insan Istimewa Cheras, Good Samaritan Homes, and many more.

This grand charity event is supported by sponsors including Maxis, Maybank, Fusionex and Mastercard, as well as Lotto, the official T-shirt sponsor. With the continuous support from Malaysian retailers and the public, let's do our part to contribute to the betterment of these charitable homes and simultaneously improve the lives of these children.

Let's Go Retro with 5km Symphony Life That ‘70s Run!

Yay! I'm all ready for my first run in 2017, how about you? It has been awhile since I am addicted to fun runs, especially themed runs where everyone is in high spirit and enjoys with the friends and family.

This coming 15th of January 2017, Symphony Life Berhad is inviting you to join them for a fun morning at its latest fun run wellness carnival called, “Symphony Life That ‘70s Run” held at BizWalk, Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong.

Time to dress up, run and dance at Symphone Life That ‘70s Run!

Bring your friends and family along and let’s revive the moments back in the ‘70s! This retro-themed run calls everyone to dress up in outfits from that era to take part in the run. Imagine those decades-old flares, funky colorful hair, huge glasses and bell bottoms... Just be creative and let your imagination go wild!

Yes, you gotta run in that epic outfit! But no worries, it's only 5km!

Best dressed participant will be rewarded too.

To further spice things up, you can shake it up in the morning. There will be 2 dance checkpoints along the 5km route. Participants are required to follow a few simple '70s dance moves by the dance instructors to be entitled to the finisher medal. So cool right?

At the finishing point, the awesome finisher medal will be yours. There you can treat yourself after the run with lots of food truck stuff in the mini fest here. Don’t forget to check out the free health check counters, health related product booths and children activity stations there!

Behind the production is certainly a lot of hard work in gathering every piece of information of Adele, 

from her very debut album 19 and successful sophomore album 21, to her latest album 25.

The great people behind this production includes Naomi Price, a popular Australian who made her appearance in the fourth season of The Voice, who is also the leading lady for this performance. She is transformed physically into Adele, literally, to deliver her best for the performance.

Well, a performance will not be successful without having a great team. Also participating in this Asia Premiere are 3 Malaysian professional musical backing vocalists, handpicked by a panel of judges consisting of Naomi Price herself, Malaysian and West End London singing sensation Sean Ghazi and experienced music director Ching Eng Shen.

The five-day performance will also be supported by live bands with strings session to give it a full live sound impact to the audience. On the second floor, there are so much more stuff to explore! The outlet is really huge and I can easily spend hours there. Most furniture here is foreign inspired but locally produced as an effort to show support to the local manufacturers.
