As you can see, Paradigm Mall along LDP Highway has just opened not long ago, but it has already received tonnes of positive response from the public. Every restaurant has ultimate long queues during weekends and lunch hours, but luckily I manage to secure a seat at Fish & Co.
The last time I went to Fish & Co. was more than a year ago, and you can find that review HERE. Back then, it was the only outlet in West Malaysia at One Utama Shopping Centre (Fish & Co. has two franchises at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah as well). And I'm glad to find the second outlet here!
The interior of the restaurant is very inviting, and its size is almost triple of the outlet at One Utama! For a fish lover like me, how can I say no to entering a restaurant with such a cute fish bone on the glass mirror?
Here you can dine in comfortably under the clean and beautifully modern setting. It makes a perfect choice, be it for family gatherings, group dinings, celebrations or simply casual meals.
#1 Soup of The Day @ RM5.95
Before my encounter with the signature seafood in a pan, I'm greeted with a bowlful of creamy potato soup. The broth is served warm with chunks of potato cubes, and I find it just right in terms of thickness of the soup.
#2 Seafood Platter for Two @ RM49.95
If you find the menu is so extensive that you do not know what to order, then the seafood platter makes a good choice. Bedded with aromatic rice and chips, this huge pan has all you want from the seafood range--- Seasonal Fish, Calamari, Prawns and Mussels.
Frankly, it's not easy to find fresh seafood around Klang Valley but those at Fish & Co. really satisfies me! All the grilled seafood in the pan are simply fresh, and I call it fabulous with the flavours enhanced by the creamy garlic lemon butter sauce.
#3 Salmon with Citrus Crust @ RM26.95
Besides the seasonal fish, Fish & Co. has my favourite fresh salmon fillet as well. The portion is rather generous as I find two slices of succulent salmon with citrus herb crust alongside with creamy mushroom sauce. However, the mushroom sauce is rather mild for my personal taste.
#4 Teriyaki Salmon @ RM24.95
Then I'm smitten by the grilled salmon fillet drenched in hot teriyaki sauce. Served with a choice of any 2 sides--- Seasonal Vegetables, Rice, Chips Coleslaw or Mashed Potato--- I believe the rice and vegetables can give you an energy boost in this well-balanced meal.
#5 Grilled Pollock with Peri-peri Sauce @ RM22.95
This newly-introduced dish captures my attention when it is served to me. The pollock (some kind of whitefish) fillet is grilled to a light golden perfection and topped with the house peri-peri sauce.
Using only the natural ingredients like olive oil, herbs and spices, the sauce is pretty much a blend of all tastes--- Spicy, sweet and salty. On top of that, the homemade mashed potato simply perfects this great tasting meals.
#6 Pink Passion @ RM6.95
It's one of the most popular drinks in the house, so don't miss this mocktail when you dine in here. The pink fusion of pineapple, orange, cranberry and honey is simply healthy with hints of sour sweet taste.
#7 Sharkie Freeze @ RM10.75
Under the category of "Big Fish Drinks", I find the name interesting and I then realise that it doubles the size of the pink passion! Their signature passion fruit blend just guarantees to invigorate your senses! It is good for sharing too.
#8 Kola Tonic @ RM5.50
A glass of coke with lemon does as good to tantalize your taste buds. The icy cold feeling just makes me feel so good under a hot weather.
#9 Passion Fruit @ RM5.50
Tagline at Fish & Co.: “One Bite and You’re Hooked!”
1. The overall taste is good for a western food chain, considering its fresh ingredients and acceptable price tags.
2. Being a typical Asian, I realise I enjoy the aromatic rice the most with assortments of fishes in different flavours and textures.
3. Revisit? I'd love to try their poultry dishes and creamy pasta during my next visit!
