SUEN Jewellers Gallery @ Jalan Maarof, Bangsar

So finely crafted and feminine, a pure brilliant piece of art!

I bet that's the best few words from me to SUEN. Well, SUEN Jewellers held an exclusive private tea-party recently with Marco Bicego and Stefan Hafner from Italy for the launch of LERÊVE, a whole new exquisite jewellery collection which I will explain further later.

Have you heard from SUEN? The brand is an evolution from The Carat Club, one of the first upmarket jewellery stores in the city when it opened its doors in 1997. Last year, it underwent a major rebranding and now it is named after the founder and managing director, Ms Lee Sze Suen.

Occupying 3 bungalow lots along Jalan Maarof, the gallery luxuriously houses the SUEN brand, The Love Diamond, Lalique and Daum classic brands. Known for its solid heritage of quality for its products and reliability, SUEN Jewellers provides distinctive products and personalised services at excellence and superiority.

Among the range of new collection of 2012, LeReve, this piece of elegant dragon necklace takes center stage. Trying to put this on, I can feel the weight, and the boldness within the lovely ruby diamante. Look at the claws and facial expression of the dragon, this is a masterpiece of excellent craftmanship!

Inspired by the Chinese tradition, the Italian Marco Bicego creates a gold locket with shiny diamonds which enable one to engrave some words on the gold plate. Paying more attention on the Dragon and Pheonix compatibility in Chinese legends, the jeweller designs a more elaborated masterpiece- a gracious brooch with a pearl marrying both components. So elegant and simply not old-fashioned at all :)

Adapting the 12 Chinese zodiacs into this brand new collection, the designers add a twist into the theme of animals into a more diversified collection, therefore here comes the squirrel! So distinctive and lively the squirrel is, I bet I can only see such exceptional piece at SUEN.

Personally, I can't take my eyes off the snake pendant cum ring. The head of the snake is rotatable, so add a string and it becomes an eye-catching necklace that everyone would wow for its diamond.

Moving on to the next part of the boutique,
The Love Diamond store is my favourite destination
because they say diamonds are always a girl's best friend!

Intending to tie the knot?
Guys, get a brilliant piece of diamond ring and
there's no reason the girl would reject your proposal!

Another idea for you, people. SUEN Gallery also organizes special occasions like surprise wedding proposal parties, specially for you and the other half! That would be so sweet and romantic!!!

This store offers a stylish selection of wedding bands and solitaire engagement rings which will be customised according to the customer's preferences while maintaining the brilliance of the diamonds. Other accompanying jewelleries like earrings and bracelets are available in the polished glass cabinets too.

I'd say "I do" :)

Look, I found my Love in the sea of rings! The exterior is rather minimalist with a huge diamond on it, but the inner part is lined with heart-shaped white gold. So beautifully crafted and smooth that I feel the happiness doubling up in me upon wearing this.

There are loads of varying styles of diamond earrings and tennis bracelets or Riviera necklaces, as well as ready-made jewellery in diamonds, pearls, rubies, sapphires, coloured gemstones and jade in the gallery!

If you think SUEN is all about jewellery, then you may realise you're wrong as you step into the third part of the boutique that sparkles with remarkable pieces of crystals from French brands, Lalique and Daum

The ornate crystals from Lalique would be a perfect addition for my dream house! The Lalique pieces would definitely appeal to those who appreciate finer things in life.

A clear brilliant vase, would you like to own one?

Lalique offers a selection of perfume in lovely gift boxes too.

While Lalique has cleaner lines with emphasis on form, Daum's pieces are more aligned to art.
The glorious crystal has vibrant colors and creative designs on its own.

Special thanks to SUEN Jewellers because I have learnt so much about jewelleries during the event, particularly on crystals and diamonds! Many don't understand why would they pay so much for such small item, but....I assure you, the quality in SUEN promises you the worth of every penny.

Our tea party is completed with colorful cupcakes from Wondermilk.
Awww... They're simply too beautiful to be eaten.

From the most classic, day-to-day wearable jewellery to the finest piece of highly elaborated masterpiece, the extensive range would suit a wide range of budget.

And I hope one day I'd receive my favourite precious piece from Mr. Prince Charming :)
