Vintage English Tea Affair with Teaffani Pâtisserie @ Parkamaya, Fahrenheit 88, KL

Special thanks to The Butterfly Project, hence this high tea session at Teaffani with the girls was made possible. High tea menu are common in Malaysia, but premium English high tea catering is few and far between.
#1 Exclusive English High Tea by Teafanni

Teafanni is one of the renowned caterers that serve delectable English high tea sets for corporate events, parties and private functions. If you've been to these events, definitely you'd return for more!

On top of its catering business, Teaffani has opened up a newly furbished permanent establishment that continues to provide an authentic English high tea experience for all. It is conveniently set in a cosy corner of the fashion retail concept store, Parkamaya at Fahrenheit 88 in Bukit Bintang.

#2 The founder, Rachael Ang was introducing the all-day English High Tea Set.

#3 3-Tier Afternoon Tea Set

Priced at only RM49.90, each set comes in an elegant 3-tier English tray comprising of assorted pastries, savouries and desserts, along with an English tea pot of your choice of tea.

Each hi-tea set was designed for two persons sharing, but the portion was rather huge for our ample appetite, so we preferred sharing among 3 pax. The more the merrier!

#4 Delicate English Teapot Set

Just by looking at the floral English porcelain tea set, Teaffani is probably the best provider of authentic English high tea in town. Forming part of the lovely European setting, the delicate pieces of teapots, cups, sugar and milk holders definitely improve my appetite while enjoying my afternoon there.

#5 Bottom Tier: Scones and Jams, Finger Sandwiches and Tiramisu

#6 Freshly-Baked Scones with Strawberry Jam and Unsalted Butter

The heavenly homemade scones served with butter and jam are the signature item of Teaffani. Lightly golden on the surface, the scones were beautifully crusty outside and felt fluffy on the inside. Plain raisin scones were very satisfying on its own, so I prefer keeping away the jam and butter.

#7 House Specialty Tiramisu

Another favourite in the cafe! Beautifully sprinkled with cocoa dusting, the tiramisu exudes a delicate flavour of layers of mascarpone which was nicely contrasted with the robust presence of espresso and sharpness of cocoa powder. These flavours came together in the velvery texture that provided a luxurious treat.

#8 Tiramisu: Something to die for!

#9 Middle Tier: Chocolate Brownies, Carrot Cake, Orange Caramel Pudding

#10 Cute Carrot Cake

The next best pick-me-up was the carrot cakes, which I simply love the attention in detail. The carrot cake layered with cream cheese had a very pretty carrot and shredded coconut as the topping. It was too cute to be eaten!

#11 Top Tier: Macarons and Chicken Quiche Tarts

#12 Chicken Quiche Tarts

I'm not fond of macaron, but this petite-looking chicken quiche tart attracts me. Stuffed with finely chopped mushroom and chicken bits, it was lightly smoky on top and I couldn't resist myself from reaching a second helping of this!

#13 Huge Portion for 3 pax

#14 English Breakfast Tea in Pot

English Breakfast Tea was best to pair with the pastry, but if you 'd love to try other variations, you may choose among Earl Grey Tea, Chamomile Tea or Peppermint Tea.

If you're craving for desserts and looking for a quick meal, Teaffani has got all you want!

From cakes, brownies, muffins, sandwiches to bottled juices, you can pick your favourite here.

#15 Strawberry Shortcake @ RM10

#16 Oreo Cheesecake @ RM15

#17 Freshly Baked Scones

#18 Almond Biscotti @ RM15

Speaking of the ambiance, this place is casual and tranquil under a vintage English setting.
Ideal to hang out with the girls and catch up the juiciest gossip together :P

#19 High Tea in Vintage China Bone Crockery

#20 Chocolate Rocher @ RM12

Lastly, courtesy to Teaffani I can haz a box of chocolate rocher for my Daddy and Mummy to savor! Almonds coated with chocolate was the favourite for everyone at home. It was crunchy and rich in chocolate but not too sweet for my liking :)

#21 Handmade Ointment from Lullabelle

Special thanks to Lullabelle (www.lullabellehandmade.com)
for sponsoring the girls some handmade ointments:

1. Sweet Orange Nail Ointment (甜橙指甲修护膏)
Helps moisturize and restore minerals to nails and cuticles. Lullabelle’s nail ointment naturally restorative with lots of soothing macadamia oil, avocado and vitamin E which help to mend and protect dry, splitting cuticles.

Verdict:
