Review: 28 Days Teatox with Cuppatea UK

Teatox has been a really popular trend over the past year, and now many teatox brands have hit the shore of Malaysia, as I see every other friend on Instagram has been #teatoxing. If you have not tried any, have you ever wondered how effective it is?

This is my second time embarking on a 28-day teatox journey. But this round it is with Cuppatea which is produced in China and packaged in UK. I got 28 days supply of Morningtime Detox tea bags, one tea bag every morning, as well as 14 days supply of Bedtime Cleanse tea bags, one tea bag on the second night starting from Day 1.

The package is well-designed with a tight seal using an upper zipper, so don't worry about the freshness of the tea bags!

Morningtime Detox
Kicking start my day with Morningtime Detox tea! It is very convenient for me as I only need to pour hot water and leave it for 3 minutes before it is ready to drink. I find the taste quite mild on the mouth, reminding me of green tea.

The overall flavour is easily acceptable although I do not normally like herb-based beverages. But if you like your morning cuppa to be sweeter or more refreshing, feel free to customize it with lemon, peppermint leaves or honey :)

In case you're wondering what's in the tea bag, it is made of 100% natural ingredients  including Mate leaves, Chinese Oolong tea, Ginger root, Lotus leaves, Lemongrass, Ginseng root, Dandelion leaves, Gotu Kola leaves and Nettle leaves. Great for reducing bloating, increase metabolism and burn fat!

For the best result, I'd suggest you to incorporate the tea as part of the daily calorie restricted diet :)

Bedtime Cleanse

On every alternate night, pampering myself with a cup of Bedtime Cleanse is something I look forward to, because of the lovely floral taste of chamomile that aids relaxation and improves sleep. I personally love the evening tea more, as it tastes better with floral aroma.

Among the ingredients such as Senna leaves, Burdock root, Liquorice root, Hawthorn leaves, Fenugreek seeds, Peppermint leaves, Chamomile and Psyllium seeds, I realise that the senna leaves can cause a laxative effect but it does help in eliminating unwanted toxins naturally from the body

The effect varies among human, but for myself, the laxative effect is quite strong as I feel mild muscle cramps after 8-9 hours (Right after I get out of bed). But there is no severe cramps or diarrhoea in my case. Certainly, I am glad that it resolves my constipation problem immediately!

I have been feasting quite alot due to constant travelling for the past month, but Cuppatea helps to aid weight loss (if not curbing me to gain weight). It is a healthy drink that does a great job in natural intensive cleansing and detoxification, but I must admit that it should not be used to replace a balanced diet. Healthy lifestyle (Regular diet and exercise) are still the crucial elements to permanent weight loss

My overall result is quite good, although there is no significant loss in weight (Only 1 kg difference). But I feel less bloated and the bowel movement is much smoother now.

#1 Teatox for weight loss? Yes, Cuppatea is what you may want to try!
#2 My body feels leaner and healthier with lesser constipation issue now.
#3 Rating: 5/5 ♥ Repurchase? Will take a short break (min. 2 weeks) and yes, resume teatoxing after that. I would go for Morningtime Detox for its metabolism boost throughout the day.
