Hello! I just checked out this brandnew mall in USJ, called Da:Men. It is located at the neighbourhood of USJ, just a stone throw away from the Sunway BRT station, and LRT Kelana Jaya line interchange station.
Public transportation is easy here. Just get down at USJ7 station and take a brisk 5 minutes walk to arrive at this mall.
Newly opened on 8 January 2016, the mall is a mixed development together with condos and offices.
At the entrance of Da:Men, the "big doors" very much resemble the traditional Chinese gate.
The mall is ready for celebrating Chinese New Year!
The 5-storey mall probably has most of the big renowned brands: Starbucks, Coffee Bean Tea Leaf, Juan Valdez Cafe, Tea Press, Jaya Grocers, Popular Bookstore, Sothys Paris, DiGi, Tonkatsu, Morganfield's, i Love Yoo! and many more.
Suki-ya Japanese Shabu-shabu is amongst the first to open its doors in this mall.
Chi Fitness is here for the healthy freaks!
The famous Thai brand, Beauty Buffet is coming very soon to Da:men!
Other famous beauty outlets here include Crabtree and Evelyn, Murad, Canmake from Japan, Celmonze The Signature, SHINS Hair Studio, Hair Fancier, Jesley Beauty, Oriental Signature, Dr Nano and more.
Thanks Crabtree and Evelyn for the grand opening gift! It's their signature hand cream, by the way.
One of my fave nail parlours, BeeQnails (which I have blogged HERE) is opening soon too.
DiGi; But where are you Maxis and Celcom?
Fashion stores are aplenty in this mall such as Harajuku, Shp Gallery, Swag, Korea Town, etc. I find that they are not quite the usual brands we see, and it's a pleasant news for me as it will not be "just the same as other malls".
Kid's e-World is going to bring fun for your children too!
My favourite party saviour-- Party Fete is here too.
The food court, named The Canteen, located at the 4th floor is where you can find cheap eats. They are even giving away 1,000 FREE meals daily during the grand opening weekend, 8-10 January 2016.
One complimentary set of lunch box with dessert and drinks per person; That's not bad at all!
Just next to the food court, you'll see something similar to Tokyo Street in Pavilion KL. Akiba has all you need to taste from Japan such as Tokyo Don, Tonkatsu and many more. There is a wishing tree at the entrance for you to hang your wishes too!
Apart from the grand opening sales I see in almost every outlet, the mall also has something exciting for shoppers! There is a photo booth at the ground floor, where you can take a picture with the Chinese emperor and empress customer, and have your photo printed instantly. Bring your family along and have fun :P
