Is online shopping your favourite thing to do nowadays?
I guess it is not just me, but generally the younger generation nowadays prefers online shopping to physical store shopping. Reason? More choices online, able to save parking and time. And the best thing is, I can always shop on the go -- when I am waiting for the train, during lunch time on a workday, or just as and when I want to. Okay, that sounds addictive, isn't it?
For me, I am a frequent online shopper but usually I only go for a couple of websites that are trusted and well-known for the product quality, timely delivery and hassle-free transaction process. Currently, my top three favourites are:
1. ZALORA
When it comes to fashion shopping, nothing beats the quality and affordability in Zalora. There are so many fashion and beauty brands featured in Zalora, but usually I will stick to several brands such as Something Borrowed, Call It Spring, Yoco, Mayuki and Zalora's own home-grown brand.
The abovementioned brands are pretty affordable, especially during sales season where Zalora provides up to 80% off on those brand-specific items. And I have never experienced any issues in the parcel delivery, unlike some unreliable e-commerce websites which do not insure on the delivery of products bought. It was a major frustration to find out that my newly-purchased items have gone missing into thin air. Luckily, so far it hasn't happened to me before with Zalora.
2. SHOPEE
Shopee is one of the leading e-commerce marketplaces in Malaysia which not only allows me to purchase the trendiest items I like, but also to let go of my pre-loved items for almost all categories ranging from home and living to gadgets and technology items.
Although some of the items are available in retail stores, I still prefer getting them from Shopee because of the digital coupons and promo codes I can get from ShopCoupons on top of the generally lower price online.
If you have not heard of ShopCoupons, it is time to learn more about it because it really helps us to save a lot while shopping online. ShopCoupons features the latest coupons, discounts, and voucher codes in Malaysia for various shopping sites and I usually get my Shopee promo code there.
3. LAZADA
Lazada is my usual platform to shop for anything ridiculously cheap from China marketplace, especially for the “Taobao Collection” category. Under this section, there are plenty of OEM products that are pretty high in quality (but always need to look carefully) and they cannot be found in any physical store in the malls I usually visit!
The only downside is that, the size of products (I am talking about clothings here) usually varies and I always make sure I read the customers’ reviews, product descriptions and store rating before I make any purchase. In the case of refund due to supplier’s error etc, Lazada usually processes refunds promptly without any hiccups.
So...what's your favourite?
