Pulai Springs Resort @ Pulai, Johor

During my relaxing stay at Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa, I extended a night stay at its sister company, Pulai Springs Resort which is only 30 minutes drive from Desaru.

#1 Cinta Ayu All Suites Hotel

There 4 of us were fitted into Cinta Ayu which is basically an apartment with 2 bedrooms overlooking the golf course of Mount Pulai and equipped with a spacious living area, kitchen as well as bathroom.

#2 Luxurious Resort-Style Apartment

FACILITIES
  • Television (Multi channels from Singapore & Malaysia)
  • Telephone (Local & IDD Dialing)
  • Mini Fridge
  • Complimentary 2 Bottles of Mineral Water, Tea & Coffee-Making Facilities
  • Electronic In-Room Safe Deposit Box
  • Toiletries
  • Hair Dryers

#3 Melana Golf Course

Pulai Springs Resort is a golfing haven with two 18-hole championship USGA standard Golf Course, and this is exactly the best view ever from my apartment!

#4 The Pulai Spa

After a long sunny day of playing golf, it finally comes to the time for pampering my body. Their Spa and Sports Centre is matched with completeness of sports and recreational facilities including:
  • 3 Resort Swimming Pools
  • Snooker & Pool
  • Squash, Tennis, Basketball & Table Tennis Courts
  • Indoor & Outdoor Jacuzzis
  • Gymnasium
  • Aerobics & Yoga Studio
  • Foot Reflexology Centre
  • Theater
  • Library
  • Kid's Club

#5 Jacuzzi & Swimming Pool Area

I learn that the 5-star resort is nestled amongst the glorious Malaysian flora and fauna at the foothills of Mount Pulai in Johor, therefore the weather is just nice, and I'm simply fascinated with endless picturesque landscape views!

#6 Spa Treatment Room

I'm definitely not a sports person, but spa is my cup of tea! How relaxing it is to enjoy the great service from a professional therapist in a dimly-lit room with soothing lavender scent.

#7 Unisex Sauna / Steam Room

#8 Golf Centre

#9 Driving Range

#10 Golf Course with Lake view

#11 The Anugraha Boutique Hotel

Nearest to the golf course lies the 22-unit boutique hotel, more of tropical-style with breathtaking views of lush greenery. Colorful blooming flowers, wide blue sky, wide spread of green field and...Can you sense what's lacking in here? Chirping of birds, of course!

#12 Sweetest Couple Ever

#13 Elegant Peacock

#14 The Garden

I felt like upgrading my stay to Anugraha immediately when I saw this magnificient view! I was told that here's the hottest spot for wedding ceremonies. I can imagine how beautiful and romantic it is to walk down the aisle in lacy white gown under such setting! :)

#15 *Start to Daydream* :P

#16 The Pulai Pavilion

*Back to the serious mode* Much in the tradition architecture of Malay, this building is where I see classy banquet venues, suitable for business meetings and formal functions.

#17 Johor Premium Outlets

Actually I am there for non-business vacation, so I find it quite boring but fret not, the resort provides a variety of tours and excursions for me to kill the time and the best thing of all is: SHOPPING!

TOURS:
  • Shopping at Johor Premium Outlets, Nike & Adidas Factory Outlet Store
  • Night Market on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays
  • Johor Bahru Bazaar (Only at night)
  • Tanjung Piai National Park
  • Pineapple Museum & Kukup Laut
  • LEGOLAND Malaysia (Only 20 minutes from the resort!)

      #18 Gleneagles Terrace

My 2 days 1 night stay there is perfected by the great dining facilities. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a selection of delectable local and western cuisine for a lunch buffet.

      #19 Truly Malaysian Food

      #20 Ayam Goreng Kunyit

      #21 Kuih Ketayap

      #22 Local Salad

      #23 Cinta Terrace

For breakfast on the very next morning, it is even more convenient for me to drop by at the all-day casual dining restaurant, Cinta Terrace because it is situated only one floor below my resort-style apartment!

      #24 Freshly-Baked Muffins

#25 Potato Wedges, Sausages & Pancakes

      #26 Truly Asian Nasi Lemak

Hopping from a hearty meal of Western style, I began the most important meal of the day with a bowlful of warm aromatic rice, with sweet sambal and spicy rendang chicken. Nothing can beat the best food in our Malaysian menu.

      #27 Strawberry Yoghurt with Condiments

#28 Danishes, Pies, Croissants & Loaves of Raisin Bread

#29 Map of Pulai Springs Resort

To wrap up my experience at Pulai Springs Resort, here I include the complete map of this resort, so that  you have a big picture of how is it really like. I'd say it's too huge that I'd lose pounds just by walking without even hitting the gym!

      #30 Buggy

And that's when the buggy comes in handy. For better convenience, the resort is kind enough to provide us with mini buggy or bicycles so that we can save some energy on walking!

Thank You for the pleasant vacation, Pulai Group!

      Verdict:
      1. Highly recommended for business functions, weddings and avid golfers.
      2. Personally, I'd say corporate should find this place more suitable than families do, therefore Pulai has the Desaru Beach Resort for family vacations and friends getaway.
      3. Pricewise, I'd pretty satisfied and probably would come back for a stay when the Legoland opens in a couple of months.

      5. Yes, it was a great place to stay. I have my friends gathering there and we stayed in 2 unit of 3 bedroom apartments. The service is great. We asked for 4 baby cots :) and all delivered immediately to us.

      11. Howdy! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I'm getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
