Tap It Out, Malaysia's First Self-Service Beer ATM @ Soho KL

Cheers, ladies and gentlemen!

The first self-service “Beer ATM” is now open in Solaris Mont Kiara! I am here checking out the energetic vibes and sipping on the freshly-served premium beers - completely automated and affordable.

Tap It Out, located on the second floor of Soho KL (Right above Caffe Bene), is the first beer bar in Malaysia that allows you to pour your own drinks and have complete control of how much beer you want each round.

Tap It Out serves 9 types of draught beer from 22 beer taps on their ‘ATMs’ including:
❤ Carlsberg
❤ Asahi
❤ Connors
❤ Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc
❤ Löwenbräu
❤ Erdinger Weissbier
❤ Hoegaarden
❤ Stella Artois
❤ Leffe

Each beer tap allows you to pour one type of beer.
So make sure you see the screen and don't get your beer name wrong :P

The screen will show which type of bar is the tap for. For instance, I have Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc on my left and Carlsberg on my right.

There are different types of glasses for different beers too!

Let's see how does this self-service system work.....

All you have to do when you enter the bar is purchase a prepaid card with cash. The card can then be used as an ‘ATM card’ on any of the beer dispensers. Reload is available at RM50, RM100 and RM150 onwards...

Tap It Out Beer ATM Card

Instructions are given at the back of the card.

Place your card under the screen and pour as much as you want!

After pouring, the screen will display the amount (ml) of beer poured,
and the price of your pour as well as the remaining balance in your card.

You can choose to enjoy your beer outside the outlet, or chill indoors.

Taking beer drinking to a more interactive level, Tap It Out also has a
digital beer pong table for you to play the classic game of electronic beer pong with beer!

Drinking with friends here will not be boring anymore!

Don't forget to check out the Beer Pong Challenge promo in the house!

Tap It Out Ultimate Platter - Ideal for sharing!
Well, nothing beats the enjoyment of pairing our favourite beers with bar snacks. Don't expect main courses to be served here, but I am pretty sure that the bar snacks can easily make one full to the brim.

Creme Brulee Roasted Pork - Definitely a must-try item here.

Premium Fries Platter - Best for communal sharing while keeping the streams of conversations and laughter going.

Asian Fusion Popcorn Chicken with House Special Spicy Sauce

Prawn Katsu - Crisp and crunchy prawns for the seafood lovers.

Garlic Butter Broiled Mussels - Fresh and deliciously spiced to pair well with beers.

Flaming Wings - Nicely added spicy kick to your traditional chicken wings.
Signature Premium Popcorn and Nuts
Oink Oink Popcorn with Bacon and Crispy Pork Rind
Cheesy Bomb Popcorn with Cheese Cuts
Naughty-nutty Popcorn with Sesame Glaze Pistachio
Tamari and Maple Roasted Almond

And lastly, my personal favourite goes to the premium popcorns infused with bacon, cheese and nuts that bring the popcorn experience to the next level. Nutty fans will love the crunchy savoury-sweet almonds too.

Good beer joint, good atmosphere and good company; what's more can I ask for at Tap It Out?
If you want an one-of-a-kind experience with "Beer ATMs", this is the right place to visit!

How to Identify Thailand Trusted Quality Products?

Hi! Are you a fan of Thai products? When it comes to grocery shopping, I realise my family enjoys buying quite a number of Thailand imported goods such as snacks, instant noodles, sauces and cooking ingredients.

But do you know that not all Thai products are made the same in terms of quality? Well, we Malaysians have a bad habit of not reading the labels whenever we buy anything! But, trust me, please spend some time looking at the labels of Thailand products for quality assurance.

Or better still, grab anything around you that is imported from Thailand and check if you see this Thailand Trust Mark that looks like a “T” alphabet logo. Congratulations if you manage to spot it; you have made a wise purchase of the item!

What is T Mark?

Review: 7 Wonders of THE FACE SHOP THE THERAPY First Serum

Time flies and I have been using THE THERAPY First Serum by THE FACE SHOP for almost a year now. Feel free to read my previous review: HERE

THE THERAPY First Serum (130ml) @ RM148.29 inclusive of 6% GST

It is one of my most favourite products from THE FACE SHOP as the essential first step in my skincare regimen after cleansing, because it works well in boosting the effectiveness of skincare treatments used after it.

It is recommended to use it in this sequence:
Step 1: First Serum
Step 2: Toner
Step 3: Serum
Step 4: Emulsion
Step 5: Cream

The Formula

It uses the serum water blending formula with crystal particles and essential oils that assure optimum skincare results by:
❤ Balancing moisture, transparency and suppleness levels
❤ Enhancing radiance of a healthy and flush skin
❤ Rejuvenating the skin’s vitality
Slowing down signs of ageing
❤ Hydrating

With the volume indicator, it is easier to monitor the usage.

7 Wonders of THE THERAPY First Serum

Ever wonder how a 130ml bottle of clear water serum can be used in 7 methods?
I am amazed that the  usage of the serum can be so versatile.

#1. As the first step of skincare
#2. As the 7 skin layering technique
#3. As an exfoliator
#4. As a mask
#5. As a mist spray
#6. As an aromatherapy treatment
#7. As a stress reliever

#1. As the first step of skincare
How To Use: Apply immediately after cleansing (before toner).
Ideal to recharge skin and boost the efficacy of the next skincare products that follow.

#2. As the 7 skin layering technique
How To Use: Pat 7 layers using Korea’s popular 7 skin method.

The Koreans believe that it will give "chok chok" plump and glowy skin.
And over a period of time, the skin will stay hydrated longer and become more even toned.

#3. As an exfoliator
How To Use: Pump onto Green Tea cotton pad and gently wipe from the center outwards.

The soft green tea 100% cotton pad comes complimentary with every purchase of the serum. Coated with finely milled natural Jade Stone and Green Tea Powder, it gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities. Great for mild exfoliation on a daily basis.

#4. As a mask
How To Use: Soak a sheet mask with The Therapy First Serum and apply onto face for 20 minutes.
Adding this into the skincare regime for 2-3 times every week can give a super charged hydration boost.

#5. As a mist spray
How To Use: Pour into a mist bottle and spray anytime to stay refreshed 24/7.

#6. As an aromatherapy treatment
How To Use: Spray on a warm damp cotton face towel, press onto face,
inhale deeply for 5 times and relax.

Essential oils like lavender will calm and relax mind, body and soul.

#7. As a stress reliever
How To Use: Do face point massage to relieve muscle tension, or
apply damp cotton pads on cheeks and forehead for 2-3 minutes.

This requires a little bit of proper technique of massaging. All you need is to follow these steps:
Step 1:  Pat The Therapy First Serum onto face.
Step 2: Cup hands over nose and mouth, then inhale to relax.
Step 3: Use the middle finger to press for 3 seconds at each point.
Step 4: Follow the pressure point sequence(No. 1-7) starting from chin.
Step 5: Repeat 3 times.

Alternatively, just damp the cotton pad with The Therapy First Serum and place it on both cheeks and forehead for 2 to 3 minutes. It is an effective way to relax tired and dull skin, leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

Marking the first anniversary of the launch of THE THERAPY First Serum in Malaysia, in conjunction with the relaunch, THE FACE SHOP is lending hand to support MAKNA (National Cancer Council) to raise fund and to raise general awareness.
