Fashion: How To Style Your Geometric Dress

#FiShOOTD:
Geometric print dress: Chicuu
Oversized Structured Tote: Teetoo
Korean-inspired Sneakers: Happy2u.my

Yay! How nice it is to receive the giveaway prize from Chicuu, delivered all the way from China! It is actually quite random when I first joined their Facebook giveaway (www.facebook.com/CHICUUOFFICIAL/posts/1333509879998265) and then got selected as one of the winners.

Anyway, the prize is a piece of geometric print dress that may look simple yet easy to match with almost any accessories. I realise that geometric fashion has a major trend at the shows, mostly focusing on shapes, angles and prints. Some are bold and loud, some more subtle and softer.

But my favourite is a monochrome piece with bold triangular prints like this. Love the additional visual aid which is provided by way of geometric prints, yielding slimming effect.

In fact, the cut itself is nice. The dress is body-hugging on the top, and flare at the bottom. Good to conceal the heavier side of the body for those with pear-shaped figure.

The fabric is silky and comfortable, although it could be better if stretchable. Nevertheless, it is very versatile when it comes to mixing and matching. I replace my usual pair of heels with something sporty plus a structured jacket to pull off the casual chic look.

I love any outfit that allows me to stand out, hence playing with colors is important here. I am sure anything bright in color, be it an outerwear, bag, shoes or even hair accessories, would be useful to spice up the overall look. Just don't go overboard, otherwise it'd look too complicated.

Anyway, happy weekend to y'all and don't forget to share your fashion thoughts with me!
