Phang Key Dim Sum @ Happy Garden

An instant craving towards Dim Sum is here! Let's enjoy the breakfast of the day @ Phang Key Dim Sum around my neighbourhood area. It is quite famous among bloggers and food hunters because of its reasonable price and varieties of dim sum.

Wu Gok or Taro dumpling (芋角)

This mashed yam, stuffed with diced shiitake mushrooms, shrimp and pork,
deep-fried in crispy batter is SUPER CRISPY! Love it so much!

Look at its fillings; It's so tempting :D

Sui Gao @ Dumplings (水餃)

Fried Wan Tans :D

Yu Yuen @ Fried fishballs, which are common everywhere.

Lor Mai Gai @ Lotus leaf rice (糯米雞)

The all-time favourite: Char Siew Bao @ Cantonese Barbecued Pork Bun (叉燒包)

My love--- Siew Mai @ Small steamed dumplings with meat (燒賣)

Also Siew Mai, but yellow-skinned :)

Fried Spring Roll (春捲)

Jin Duei  (煎堆)
It is a fried Chinese pastry made from glutinous rice flour.
The pastry is coated with sesame seeds on the outside and is crisp and chewy.

At the end of the meal, dabao-ed some yam pastries back home for tea :D
The yumminess is just too irresistable!

Lastly...
Strongly recommended for its huge variety and reasonable price!
The only drawback is the not-so-hygienic environment there.

  12. Typical kopitiam-style dim sum... The yam dumpling skin looks perfectly done. They say the best is one at Sri Petaling? I wouldn't know myself - never been either.

  21. It seems I'm on the right track, I hope I can do well. The result was something I did and was doing to implement it.
