This quirky, indoor picnic themed cafe is famed for its freshly-baked wholemeal artisan sandwich breads layered between crisp lettuce, cheese and chunky meats. They are then spiced up with special homemade sauces that you can't taste elsewhere!
You will find tranquility in the midst of hustles and bustles of the city as this cafe transports you to a beautiful park with fresh flowerpots and wooden furniture sitting on the velvety green field. Isn't it a lovely, picture-perfect setting?
Kids will definitely enjoy sitting on a playful stripe picnic blanket and enjoy playing the wide selections of board-games here.
Recalling the name of the cafe, surely you'd love to try their signature sandwiches which are dense in fibre and nutrient goodness come with over 10 types of fillings to choose from:
- Chicken Salami
- Sauteed Mushroom
- Beef Salami
- Tapau roll-up
- BBQ Chicken
- Garlic Butter Prawn
- Grilled Chicken & Cheese
- Smoked Salmon
- Soft Shell Crab
Peanut Butter Latte @ RM10
If you like peanut butter, chocolate and coffee, then this is the drink for you. Topped with foamed milk and dark chocolate shave, the latte is average. I'd skip the drink and go for the crispy sugar-coated toast as a quick, delicious munch.
Infused Water @ RM3 / CRUSH Banana Pineapple Smoothie @ RM10
Healthy goers should look out for the in-house specialty detoxifying fruit-infused water that is loaded with soaked citrus fruits (watermelon, strawberry, lemon and lime), mint leaves and green tea. For a quick boost of vitamins, 100% pure fruit smoothies from CRUSH are great as they are healthy and guilt-free.
6 types of Pure Fruit Smoothies from CRUSH @ RM10 each
Garlic Butter Prawn (The Senorita) @ RM12
It is generously tossed with chilli flakes but I don't find it spicy at all. If I have any complaint at all, it'd be the overzealous application of oil/butter that makes the bread soggy and greasy.
BBQ Chicken (The Weekender) RM11
Drizzled with special tangy sauce, the spiced BBQ chicken chunks are a nice variation from the usual chicken ham sandwich. As we munch on this hearty combination, both lightly sweet and smoky flavours linger in the mouth, leaving a moist and juicy feeling.
Look at the generous amount of fillings!
Soft Shell Crab Aglio Olio @ RM18
If you are not a bread person, why not try out the salad and pasta? We heard that their spaghetti with meatballs is worth trying but it is the newly introduced soft shell crab aglio olio that has caught our attention. Look at the perfectly fried soft shell crab, how can we resist that?
This dish is indeed the right choice made. A simple yet extravagantly flavoured dish crowned with soft shell crab, thick strips of juicy mushrooms and chilli flakes, it's the epitome of soul food for us although it leaves us a little hot under the collar.
Salted Caramel Brownie @ RM4
Guilt-free desserts are aplenty on the menu, so indulge your sweet tooth with any of the healthy treats. My salted caramel brownie is surprisingly light and full of cocoa goodness without feeling sweet at all!
It's definitely a must-try!
Chocolate Macadamia Tart @ RM9
Fruity Popsicles @ RM4 each
I'd love to try the guilt-free popsicles too! Purely handcrafted from real fruits, there are many interesting fruit combinations to choose from: Watermelon Lychee, Honeydew Vanilla, Chewy Chocolate, Orange Dried Apricot and Dragonfruit Orange.
Breakfast sets and hi-tea combo are available at only RM5 and RM8 respectively. Feel free to dine at the indoor picnic here, or opt for free delivery up to your doorstep. Now, you can have fuss-free, nutritious and hearty meals to set up your whole day!
1. Yummy, hearty sandwiches are especially great for breakfast, and best paired with fruit smoothies.
2. The ingredients for the food are all top-notch and unique in their own ways. I'll be back for its food, but not the beverages.
