oh{FISH}iee: Review: MAMONDE Floral Hydro Narcissus Intense Hydrating Skincare

It takes me a while to truly believe in the natural beautifying power of flowers, especially after trying out a lot of botanical-based skincare products which don’t really work wonder like how they claim to be. But one brand which I have trusted since the first day it came into Malaysia in 2016 is Mamonde, the popular Korean brand which has always been known for inspiring beauty with flowers.

That's how Mamonde found an ingenious use for the Narcissus bulb in the improved Mamonde Floral Hydro Line.

Mamonde Floral Hydro Line functions to moisturize the skin, preventing it from drying after washing.

Step 1: Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner (150ml) @ RM89

Do you realise that washing the face will reduce the skin's natural moisture? That's why I will never skip using Toner after cleansing. But this “Ampoule Toner” is more unique in some ways, and I am satisfied that it works way better than the ordinary toners out there.

The ampoule texture feels like a liquid-filled bubble but when it touches the skin,

it transforms into water. Easily spreadable and quickly absorbed by the skin.

Compared to the previous Floral Hydro Skin Softener, the Ampoule Toner

increases the skin moisture level by 226% - approximately 2.8 times more moisturization.

When I first heard about facial "cream", it gives me some uneasy feeling as I would think of the usual thick creamy texture and potential sticky residue on the skin. To my surprise, this Floral Hydro Cream is totally different from what I thought!

It feels like water gel on the skin; So light and easy to spread onto skin.

Similar to the Ampoule Toner, it turns into water and quickly disappears once it touches the skin.

Love that deeply nourishing and cooling sensations!

It feels refreshing on skin with a slightly cooling sensation and no stickiness at all.

Skin becomes supple on the surface and deeply hydrated from within.

What I Like: ★★★★☆

It works great for locking-in moisture to the skin for long-lasting hydration. Application wise,

it is pretty versatile – It can be used as daily moisturizer and hydrating sleeping mask at night.

Verdict:

1. Don’t belittle the floral hydro hydrating power of the narcissus bulb; The improved Narcissus series now has deeper hydration, faster absorption and better moisture replenishment.
2. If you need a long-lasting and sustainable moisture boost to your dehydrated and sensitive skin, this is probably what you’re looking for.
