Skyline of Kuala Lumpur

Whenever you're in a car, bus or train around KL, you can see the Petronas Twin Tower and KL Tower dominate the skyline.

However, as a blogger born in KL, lived in KL for the past 20 years, I have never been to KL Tower before. It's always this way- People originated from the area don't visit the places of attraction at their own place.

The KL Tower is a 421m high telecommunications and broadcasting tower
which actually appears to be taller than the Petronas Towers, because it is built on a hill.

Okay. So this is the first time I'm there at Menara Kuala Lumpur.

To my surprise, there are quite a number of locals purchasing ticket to enter the parks around KL Tower.
I thought this place is meant for tourists from various countries only.

The background illustrates the night view of the whole city. Maginificient, isn't it? :)

Coincidentally, I saw this ongoing Pesta Negeri 2011. Really a perfect time to visit KL!

Let's enter the Cultural Village and learn more about Malaysia!

All kinds of 'rumah's are exhibited here.
Long houses, the indigenous houses, Minangkabau-roofed houses, you name it and it can be found here :)

Here's the interior of the house. 100% made of wood!
The blogger is posing at the trail; "I Love Greenery!"
Here's the garden; A nice place to chill and take pictures.

The place is perfected by the weather of the day!
Very sunny and cloudy; Suitable for outdoor shootings.

Let's have a look at this Malay traditional musical instrument--- Gamelan Music
This looks exactly like a xylophone!

Oh ya. Not to forget this; You can always take picture with it!
Let me tell you something, it is well-trained to take pictures with tourists, so when I take out my camera, it immediately looks at it and poses well! Just like how it does now. Amazing right?

Don't miss out other tourism hot spots around Malaysia too!
Start planning your trip now :)
