Ramadhan Berbuka Puasa Buffet @ Park Royal Kuala Lumpur

Set within the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur hotel restaurant, Chatz Brasserie, is offering a spread of perennial hawker temptations this Ramadhan! Spoil yourself with hundreds of choices in the buffet line while you break fast and make your Ramadhan a memorable one.

#1 Chatz Brasserie, revamped and 'refreshed' with live action concepts

Adopting a hawker style concept, dishes are prepared ala minute right before you! The live cooking stations include Chicken Rice, Noodles, Nasi Lemak, Char Kuey Teow, Grilled Items, Roti Canai, Chapati, Dim Sum, Caviar Bar, Pizza Corner and a Carvery Station.

Are You Ready For FOOD?

#2 Carvery Station- BBQ Whole Lamb

The carvery station features the mouth-watering roasted lamb which comes with black pepper, mushroom and mint sauce. Juicy and rich in aromatic spices, it is a must-have during Ramadhan!

#3 Ramadhan Main Dishes

Scoop a plateful of Nasi Kerabu and indulge in the chef's recommended main dishes such as Udang Galah Goreng Mamak fried with Indian spices and chilli paste, Ayam Percik Iftar which exudes rich spicy flavour, Kurma Kerbau, Pajeri Nenas, Ikan Duri Berlada and Gulai Lemak Telur Itik. Don't forget to pair them with palate openers like Acar Kedondong and Acar Buah.

Craving for something more exotic?
Have a go at Rendang Landak and Burung Unta Masak Halia!

#4 Hot from the Kitchen!!

These are just the beginning of breaking the fast! More dishes are coming your way...

#5 Lemang, Ketupat Palas & Serunding Ayam

#6 Kerabu & Sambal Pelengkap

Kerabu
Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Umai Ikan, Kerabu Soo Hoon Berudang,
Kerabu Perut, Kerabu Ayam Daun Kasom, Kerabu Jantung Pisang

Sambal Pelengkap
Sambal Belacan, Sambal Mangga, Sambal Kelapa, Sambal Tomato, Cencalok

#7 Pasembor Berlauk with Peanut Gravy

#8 Ramadhan Special Bubur Lambuk

#9 Famous Noodle Station

If you fancy some noodles, there are options of Mi Rebus, Prawn Mee, Curry Laksa and Wanton Noodle Soup for you to warm your stomach before moving on the cold cuts and fresh seafood on ice!

#10 Fresh Seafood on Ice
Fresh Oysters and Poached Mussels with Lemon and Lime Wedges
Cocktail Sauce and Spicy Tomato Sauce

If you want something hot, head to the Local Grill Station and savour assorted Ikan Bakar and Wrapped Cockles with Homemade Sauce (Sos Asam, Sos Kicap Pedas, Sos Cili Thai, Kalasan Sauce). I myself couldn't help but grab plenty of these!

#11 Char Kuey Teow

If you think the best Char Kuey Teow is from Penang, then now you can just stay in KL and savor the equally delicious plate of piping hot fried kuey teow at Chatz Brasserie. The aroma and taste are pretty good and it is less oily as compared to those out there.

For a difference in flavour, try some Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Indian Roti Canai, Roti Sardin, Chicken Murtabak, Chapati, Roti Jala, Serawa Durian which are all freshly prepared from the live cooking counters.

#12 Oh-Chien (Fried Oyster with Omelette)

The fried oyster with egg is very satisfying when served hot from the live cooking station.
Look at the huge oysters, aren't they simply mouth-watering!

#13 Japanese Station

Sushi lovers like me would be delighted to see the assortments of temaki and cold salad on the buffet spread. What's more is the wide array of fresh salmon, tuna, butter fish and smoked salmon. Unlike many other buffets, here in Park Royal the staff replenishes the food once finished. I feast on my favourite salmon with lots of pickled ginger, wasabi and shoyu sauce too.

#14 Fresh Sashimi

#15 Assorted Premade Salad

#16 Bakery Corner with Cold Cuts, Cheese and Salad Condiments

#17 Traditional Malay Delicacies: Kuih Puteri Ayu & Pulut Panggang

#18 Kuih Muih: Kuih Lopes, Puteri Mandi, Onde-onde, Talam Keladi,
Bingki Ubi, Lepat Pisang, Kuih Tako, Kuih Karas, Badak Berendam

Ramadhan buffet is one of my favourite throughout the year, because I can enjoy lots of exotic kuih that I don't usually see on the street. When it comes to the sweet side, don't forget to save some space  for the colorful treats!

#19 Top: Baked Cheese Cake & Passion Fruit Mousse Cake
Middle: Banana Chocolate Chips & Dark Cherry Almond Flan
Bottom: Corn Jelly, Chocolate Mousse Tarts

#20 Caramelized Crepe

#21 Ramadhan Special Gruel: Bubur Kacang Hijau Durian

The best part of having buffet for me is always dessert! Green bean dessert soup is one of my Mum's specialty, but having it with Durian is something new and exotic that I'd love to try! If you're lucky, you will taste chunks of durian flesh in the green bean porridge.

#22 Chocolate Fountain with Strawberries, Grapes, Dried Apricots, Dragonfruit & Brownies

#23 Ais Kacang & Chatz Air Janda Pulang

Chatz Air Janda Pulang is one of the Ramadhan highlight here.
Added with palm sugar syrup, the refreshing coconut water is indeed thirst quenching.

#24 Exotic Ice Creams

Instead of the usual ice cream selections, Chatz Brasserie serves 6 exotic flavours which become crowd's favourite of the evening. Among them are Black Sesame, Raspberry, Green Tea, Strawberry Cheese, Mocha and the basic Vanilla.
