Eau Thermale Avene Beauty Workshop x Vanity Trove

It was a Saturday morning when I went to Cafe Barbera at Bangsar to attend

a beauty workshop organized by Avene in collaboration with Vanity Trove.

An aromatic cup of latte to kickstart my beautiful morning!

EAU THERMALE Avène is a unique French dermo-cosmetic brand dedicated to each level of skin sensitivity; from sensitive, intolerant to allergic. Being dermo-cosmetic means that it has dermatological medicinal properties + standard cosmetic feature. Avène marks the beginning of the journey towards having healthy and beautiful skin.

She was the facilitator of the day, who explained briefly bout the brand. Now I learn that Avène was established since year 1743! It has a strong history of healing eczema since centuries ago, so I have strong faith that it would work miracle on my dry skin too...

Step 1: Cleanser and Make Up Remover

Step 2: Extremely Gentle Cleanser

Step 3: Gentle Toner

During the workshop, we had a simple tutorial on how to choose products that best suit our skin,
and a easy pessy DIY facial mask. After prepping my skin (with the above steps), it's time for a quick boost of moisture using Avene star product, the Thermal Spring Water.

Step 4: Spray sufficient amount of Thermal Spring Water onto a clean paper mask

Step 5: Fit the paper mask onto your face.

Step 6: Repeat Step 4 using 2 pieces of cotton pad and place them onto the eye area

I simply love the cooling sensation it gives!

Now I can pamper myself with a DIY face mask for 10 minutes everyday!

Step 7: Don't forget to apply hydrating cream after that!

If you're heading out but don't feel like putting on makeup, then sunblock is a must.

SPF 50+ is good enough to protect you for more than 8 hours...

Overall, the workshop is pretty simple and easy to learn. Pampering my skin using Avene products is made so easy and almost effortless! Oh by the way, before the event came to a close, I got a special edition of Vanity Trove full of Avene's products! :)
